Senior Supervisor IT Operations

About the Role

Responsible for all IT strategy development execution and management activities supporting secure digital innovation & capabilities both internally and externally.

Responsible for day to day delivery of technology services to internal and external clients. Services include incident capture and resolution; performance monitoring tuning and actioning; break-fix resolution; support of operational audits and certifications; and other operational administrative functions such as equipment circuit ordering and associated activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day activities for support activities for all business units at the site
  • Implements strategies and activities to ensure that the best customer service is achieved.
  • Ensure site is compliant with developed standards.
  • Provide full support for all IT activities for the desktop and infrastructure teams where needed.
  • Lead all IT projects for providing upgrades and remediation for the site.
  • Report to senior managers on any issue that could significantly impact the business.
  • Manage ticket queue for the site
  • Performs technical-based activities.
  • Contributes to and manages projects.
  • Uses deductive reasoning to solve problems and make recommendations.
  • Interfaces with and influences key stakeholders.
  • Leverages previous knowledge and expertise to achieve results.
  • Ability to complete work self-guided.
  • Provides onsite end-user support.
  • Installs applications.
  • Manages hardware and software installations and troubleshooting.
  • Mentors junior level desktop support members.
  • Participates in ticket queue management.
  • Provides onsite smart hand support to other technical towers as needed.
  • Installs and configures new hardware.
  • Manages site-level inventory.
  • Manages ticket queue for local support requests.
  • Escalates systems outages or problems that are impacting production.
  • Leads local onsite desktop support members.
  • Validates that tickets are being assigned and worked in appropriate timeframes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

For this position actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location experience and performance. In addition to base pay this position based on business need may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. In addition Conduent provides a variety of benefits to employees including health insurance coverage voluntary dental and vision programs life and disability insurance a retirement savings plan paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) or vacation and/or sick time. The estimated salary range for this role is $49280 - $64000.
