iQuasar LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer for our customers in Colorado Springs CO. iQuasar is an 18-year-old Northern Virginia company delivering recruitment proposal development digital marketing software development and IT solutions to Small and Medium Business (SMB) Government contractors in technology and Civil Engineering verticals.
One of our clients in Colorado Springs CO needs a Systems Engineer for a contract position.

Job Responsibilities:
The Systems Engineer plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the independent evaluation selection and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques procedures and criteria. Independently prepares (or directs others to prepare) criteria computation/analyses specifications cost estimates and technical reports in the specific area of technical expertise. Selects and applies engineering techniques and procedures to analyze and evaluate specific problem data or other features of the work which are broad in scope and complexity. Reviews and evaluates the quantity quality and overall adequacy of results and conclusions drawn from accomplishment of engineering tasks. Requirements definition analysis allocation decomposition tracing to higher level requirements and verification methods.
Advise and implement best engineering practices. Analyze technical documentation and update as needed to ensure correctness and adherence to the current operational or proposed systems. Perform reviews of engineering products and advise where corrections or improvements are appropriate.
Typical Duties Include:
- Independently evaluate select adapt and modify standard techniques and criteria to plan and conduct engineering assignment.
- Independently plan schedule and conduct or coordinate detailed phases of engineering work through the selection and adaptation or modification of techniques procedures and criteria.
- Analyze complex features of the work and apply principles and practices of the discipline or devises new approaches in problem solutions.
- Thoroughly review all results from assigned tasks and determine if outputs are complete correct integrated with project objectives and adequately documented.
- Apply concepts for developing and establishing systems engineering databases templates requirements test and modeling tools.
- Accomplish tasks of moderate scope and solve problems which require investigation of a select number of variables.
- Interpret requirements and perform analyses to ensure that objectives are met.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 3 years of systems engineering or related experience.
- Active DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g. Security CE)
- Experienced with independently evaluating selecting adapting and modifying standard techniques and criteria in order to plan and conduct engineering assignments.
- Experienced with technical documentation requirements plans schedules conduct and coordination of detailed phases of engineering work through the selection and adaptation or modification of techniques procedures and criteria.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance at the required level.
