Position Title: Scale Operator PM
Shift: 4:00 PM 12:00 AM

Allegro Sanitation Corporation is a leading provider of solid waste and recycling collection in the metropolitan area specializing in commercial and industrial waste. The mission of Allegro is to provide the highest quality customer service solid waste collection and recycling within the commercial and industrial sector.
Position Summary:
The Scale Operator is responsible for weighing all inbound and outbound trucks ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety and operational procedures. This role plays a key part in supporting smooth operations at our facility during evening hours.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately weigh vehicles using the scale system
Enter load data into the system (manual and/or computerized)
Verify load contents and ensure all required documentation is complete
Communicate with drivers dispatchers and site personnel
Monitor and control gate access for incoming and outgoing traffic
Maintain clean and organized scale house and work area
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Provide excellent customer service to drivers and vendors
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Prior experience in a scale operator or administrative/logistics role preferred
Basic computer skills; experience with scale software a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in an outdoor/industrial environment
Ability to work the full 4 PM 12 AM shift including occasional weekends or holidays as needed
