Position Summary:
Reporting to the Supervisor Warehouse the Custodial and Sanitation Worker will be responsible for ensuring a clean organized and safe environment across office washroom and warehouse areas in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Essential Functions:
General cleaning of office washrooms and warehouse areas as per SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Cleaning of the floors within the office warehouse and washrooms
Wiping down surfaces within the offices
Maintain warehouse cleanliness to AIB and HACCP standards.
Perform to established standards of efficiency.
Check and maintain inventory levels of custodial supplies and replenish when required.
Collect and remove garbage as required.
Perform some heavy lifting- up to 40 kgs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Operating equipment required to move pallets around in the warehouse
Other duties as required
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
Self- starter
Positive attitude
Able and willing to work without supervision.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Able to follow directions with accuracy
Ability to be trained on warehouse equipment
Equipment / Tools / Technology:
Must be able to operate a forklift or pallet jack
