Position Overview: As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic you will be responsible for diagnosing repairing and maintaining our fleet of heavy-duty vehicles ensuring they operate efficiently and meet safety standards. The successful candidate will bring a strong technical skill set a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosis and Repairs: Conduct thorough diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles including trucks to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as oil changes brake inspections and engine tune-ups to keep the fleet in optimal condition.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all repairs services and inspections and provide detailed reports as needed.
- Adherence to Safety Standards: Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other mechanics and team members to troubleshoot complex issues and optimize fleet performance.
- Equipment Inspections: Review pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify and address potential problems before they escalate.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with a variety of heavy-duty vehicle systems including engines transmissions and braking systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Safety Bonus:Earn a$1.00 bonus for every hour workedfrom January through December based on maintaining safe work practices.
