Job Description

The Opportunity:

Newcastle Anglican has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Clinical Education Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for providing clinical support and supervision for services across Newcastle Anglican and its entities. You will manage the education framework within residential care and NDIS ensuring our people have the required education and ongoing development support to deliver high quality care.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate areas of mandatory education and training required in response to identified incidents feedback and/or sector developments
  • Lead and develop the quality of educational content and training solutions in collaboration with key stakeholder groups
  • A strong understanding of and passion for staff education development and education
  • Ability to effectively develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Use the online eLearning platform with the L&D team to develop manage monitor and report on training activity and compliance with education framework requirements
  • Review and update role competencies standards and completion for clinical and direct staff
  • Monthly reporting to leadership teams
  • Oversee and monitor annual education calendars and L&D programs

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing and/or relevant experience
  • Cert IV in training and Assessment
  • Extensive experience in assessment of clinical needs and development
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role where you have directly contributed to the development of education frameworks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office applications
