We are looking for a dynamic organized self-starter to join our Product Support and Logistics Division as a Transport Analyst (3rd Shift) in Morton IL.
TheProduct Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. In PSLD as within all of Caterpillar our priority is our customers and helping them build a better world. We touch nearly every element of the services value stream from procurement to design and manufacturing to distribution. PSLD is responsible for Aftermarket Parts DistributionofCat Parts Integrated Logistics segment Procurementand thedesign andmanufactureof Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET) and Maintenance Components (Seals Tubes & Hardware Hose & Couplings Fluids and Filters).

Job Summary:
The Transport Analyst provides day-to-day technical and administrative support for the Integrated Packaging Center (IPC) logistics staff and activities.
Additional Info:
- This position requires the candidate to work a 5 day-a-week schedule in the Morton IL warehouse.
- Shift: 3rd Shift 11pm to 7am Sunday through Thursday
- Relocation Offered: None.

- Travel: 10% (Domestic Only)
What You Will Do:
- Track and report on activities costs and expenditures for all transportation modes.
- Verify documents and checklists are accurate and complete.
- Notify departments of shipping or receiving schedules and of any logistics problems.
- Maintain records of all shipments and invoices using an established system.
- Resolve grief issues relating to advanced shipping notices.
- Utilize SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Blue Yonder to ensure effective flow of materials.
- Post on the floor of the IPC to support the IPC staff
What You Have (Required Skills):
- Standard Operating Procedures: Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP); ability to design implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- Import/Export - MFG: Knowledge of issues procedures tools and practices of importing and exporting; ability to import and export goods to and from international locations.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Skills):
- Transportation - MFG: Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers distribution centers manufacturing facilities and customers.
- Logistics Management: Knowledge of the processes tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials; ability to understand predict and control the movement of goods materials and supplies.
- Experience with SAP EWM
- Experience with Blue Yonder

Summary Pay Range:
$28.15 - $42.25Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
