The Private Pricing Programs & Experiences (3PX) team as part of the AWS Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization is responsible for the Private Pricing Program. The Private Pricing Analytics and Insights (PPA&I) team owns the development and evolution of scalable analytical solutions that empower the GDSP organization with actionable insights to make data-driven decisions.
We are seeking an exceptional leader to spearhead a portfolio of analytics and insights initiatives within the AWS Private Pricing Program. This pivotal role will lead a team with the development and management of data products and services requiring a unique blend of technical expertise strategic vision and cross-functional leadership to ensure operational excellence.
As a Sr. Manager Private Pricing Data & Analytics you will create a vision and roadmap for analytics and insights products within the AWS Private Pricing Program. Youll collaborate closely with senior leadership including the VP of Private Pricing to align analytics initiatives with broader business objectives. Your role involves identifying and prioritizing high-impact opportunities for data-driven decision making across the organization. You will conceptualize design and oversee the development of advanced analytics products and tools. Leading the creation of scalable solutions that deliver actionable insights to stakeholders will be a core part of your responsibilities. We expect you to foster a culture of innovation encouraging creative problem-solving using the latest technologies including Generative AI. You will manage a portfolio of projects staffed by our growing team consisting of data scientists data engineers business intelligence engineers sales operations and other product managers.
In this role you will bring experience with demonstrated communication skills and ability to prioritize effectively to ensure timelines are met in an ever changing fast paced business environment. You will deep dive on projects owned by A&I team to incl end-to-end from engaging with stakeholders from production to delivery of tools insights and reports at high standards by establishing mechanisms that fuels scale. You should be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity able to think big and be creative (while still paying careful attention to detail). You focus on delivering measurable results and with those results clearly communicated to stakeholders. You are a strong writer that can clearly communicate complex topics to a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders. You proactively work to improve the consistency and integration between your teams solutions and any related systems or artifacts.
Key job responsibilities
Build transform and lead a team owning the end-to-end lifecycle of scalable analytics solutions including design development and maintenance of metrics reports analyses and dashboards that address critical business needs.
Architect and implement robust data governance frameworks to ensure data quality security and compliance across all managed products.
Translate complex business requirements into actionable project plans effectively managing cross-functional teams comprised of both technical and non-technical members.
Establish mechanisms and inspection to ensure comprehensive documentation for products and data infrastructure catering to diverse audiences from technical specialists to business stakeholders.
Lead & participate in strategic discussions with senior leadership using data-driven insights to inform business critical decisions
Proactively identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and scalability continuously improving the teams capabilities and output.
Pioneer the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as Generative AI into existing operational workflows to drive continual innovation for improved customer experiences across private pricing mechanisms.
Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact and success of analytics initiatives regularly reporting on progress to stakeholders.

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition for a Data & Analytics team
- 5 years of building transforming and leading mult-competency (BIE DE SDE PM) teams
- Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $182100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $314800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
