Toolmaker/ CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist
Toolmaker / CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist will be responsible for setting up and operating manual and CNC lathes mills and other shop equipment in a low-volume high-mix environment. Youll design and build fixtures jigs and tooling to support precision turbine and compressor work playing a key role in fast-paced turnarounds across the energy and industrial sectors.
Toolmaker / CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist will ideally have experience with multi-axis Manual and CNC machining with a strong emphasis on designing and producing custom fixtures and tooling.

CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist / Machining Technician
Role
- Read and interpret technical drawings to guide machining work and ensure accuracy
- Perform routine upkeep on machining equipment to maintain optimal performance
- Design and produce specialized fixtures and tooling for intricate or custom parts
- Operate manual mills lathes and CNC machines to manufacture precision components
- Contribute to fast-paced critical turnaround projects by delivering tailored tooling solutions
- Work closely with engineering and production teams to develop forward-thinking tooling innovations
- Help standardize and document tooling processes across the Pearland site supporting continuous improvement
CNC Machinist / Manual Machinist / Machining Technician
Requirements
- Demonstrated background working as a Toolmaker or Machinist within a custom job shop or manufacturing setting
- Skilled in manual machining techniques including lathe milling and surface grinding; CNC capabilities are a bonus
- Confident in reading technical drawings and bringing bespoke tooling concepts to life from initial idea through to finished product
- Strong analytical thinking with a meticulous approach to high-precision work
- Familiarity with handling oversized or heavy-duty components is beneficial (e.g. turbomachinery industrial assemblies etc.)
