AI Automation Engineer Chatbots & Workflow Automation (n8n Specialist)

About RoverPass
RoverPass is a fast-growing startup in the hospitality and travel industry providing cutting-edge reservation and operational solutions for RV parks and campgrounds. As we scale were looking for AI Automation Engineers and Workflow Automation Developers with hands-on experience using tools like n8n OpenAI APIs and chatbot frameworks to help us automate internal processes and optimize business performance.
What Youll Do
As part of our AI & Automation initiative you will:
Design and implement workflow automations using n8n or similar tools to streamline repetitive tasks in customer support finance HR and marketing.
Build and deploy chatbots that integrate with our internal systems and tools (CRM databases forms etc.) to guide users or perform actions automatically.
Set up LLM-powered assistants (e.g. GPT-4 Claude Gemini) to automate operations like data processing email generation form parsing or customer service inquiries.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify use cases build low-code automations and iterate on solutions based on feedback.
Ensure proper integration of AI tools with existing platforms (e.g. HubSpot Gmail Slack Google Sheets DigitalOcean etc.).
Explore and test different AI APIs (OpenAI Google Cloud AI Deepgram AssemblyAI) and RPA solutions when relevant.
What Were Looking For
Proven experience in workflow automation using n8n Zapier Make or similar low-code tools
Strong knowledge of AI APIs especially OpenAIs GPT models and how to integrate them into workflows
Experience building AI assistants chatbots or agent-like workflows that interact with users or process backend actions
Familiarity with API integrations webhooks and authentication methods (OAuth API keys)
(Bonus) Some scripting knowledge in JavaScript Python or for advanced customization inside n8n
(Bonus) Experience working with CRM ERP ATS or Helpdesk platforms
