Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Technologist Permanent Role
- Location: Pflugerville TX 78660
- Shift: 12 HR Days 07:00 AM 07:00 PM
- Guaranteed: 36 Hours
- Compensation: Based on experience.
Essential Functions of the Role: - Quality Assurance:
- Perform high-quality nuclear medicine PET and theranostic procedures (including planar SPECT and SPECT/CT) following standardized exam protocols.
- Ensure imaging procedures are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Conduct quality control (Q.C.) as required by imaging equipment manufacturers Radiation Materials License (RAM) and the American College of Radiology (ACR).
Key Success Factors: - Able to monitor and observe changes in patient condition and notify appropriate medical staff.
- Proficient in administering first aid and utilizing emergency equipment as needed.
- Must maintain up-to-date knowledge and demonstrate proper care for patients across the following age groups:
- Newborn
- Pediatric
- Young Adult
- Adult
- Geriatric
Certification/License/Registration (Required): Must have one of the following certifications:
- ARRT (N): Certified in Nuclear Medicine by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
- CNMT: Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
