Job Description

Physician Assistant Neurosurgery Permanent Role

  • Location: Grapevine TX 76051
  • Shift: Full-Time Days 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
  • Guaranteed: 40 Hours
  • Compensation: Based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and manage neurosurgical patients in the Emergency Room (ER) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and hospital units.
  • Provide first-assist support in the operating room during neurosurgical procedures.
  • Perform neurosurgical bedside procedures in the ICU and ER as needed.
  • Respond to after-hours calls from existing patients and referring physicians.
  • Deliver clear and compassionate patient and family education regarding neurosurgical care plans.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Graduate of an Accredited Physician Assistant Program.
  • Experience: Less than 1 year of experience acceptable.
Licensure & Certification:
  • Physician Assistant License (PA) Valid in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required at hire or within 30 days of employment.
