Job Description
Role: RN- Neuro Stepdown
Location: Chicago IL 60631
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12 hr Nights
Schedule: 36 hrs per week/3 days
Pay breakdown:
Hourly rate - $55 $15.00 taxable $40.00 non-taxable
Weekly Gross - $ 1980.00 $540.00 taxable $ 1440.00 stipend
Job Summary:
- The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Neuro Stepdown Unit provides specialized compassionate care to patients with neurological conditions requiring close monitoring and intermediate-level care.
- This role involves managing patients recovering from strokes neurosurgeries seizures and other acute neurological events. The RN assesses patient needs develops and implements individualized care plans administers medications and treatments and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe high-quality care.
Requirements:
- BLS ACLS and NIHSS certification
- Strong EPIC documentation skills
- Ability to perform and interpret EKGs
