Job Description

Job Title: .NET Full Stack Engineer

Location: Omaha NE (Hybrid)

Duration: Full Time Role

Interview mode: Video

Visa: USC/ GC Only

Job Description:

Must Haves:

5 years of full stack development experience.

Ability to creatively problem-solve and bring your own solutions to the table.

Comfortable in a fast-paced constantly changing work environment.

Programming Languages: Strong experience with C# / .NET Core/6/7/8 and JavaScript/TypeScript.

Frontend Development: Proficient in React with experience building and maintaining scalable reusable components.

Backend Development: Solid experience building RESTful APIs.

Database Expertise: Proficiency in SQL (performance optimization stored procedures) and basic familiarity with NoSQL (e.g. Cosmos DB MongoDB).

Azure Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Azure App Service and Azure Functions.

Microservices Architecture: Understanding of microservices design implementation best practices.

Testing: Experience with automated testing frameworks like xUnit Jest or React Testing Library.

Should Haves:

Relational DBs/ORM: Experience with Entity Framework or Dapper.

Containerization: Familiarity with Docker for local development and deployments.

State Management: Solid understanding of Redux or other state management libraries and React Hooks.

CI/CD: Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.

Authentication: Knowledge of modern authentication mechanisms (e.g. OAuth2 OpenID Connect).

Nice to Haves:

API Gateways: Familiarity with Azure API Management.

Event-Driven Architecture: Working knowledge of Azure Service Bus or Event Grid for messaging.

Frontend Styling: Strong experience with CSS-in-JS or frameworks like Tailwind CSS.

Code Quality: Familiarity with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube.

Design Systems: Experience implementing or contributing to design systems in React.

More About the Job and Benefits:

They offer a bonus but will not declare how much since it is completely discretionary based on individual and company performance.

Great opportunity for growth technically and career-wise. This is a very small team and there will be 2 people supporting their core application moving forward. They are currently going through a 12-month modernization effort with a 3rd party. They would integrate into this team and be surrounded by a very talented delivery team.

401(k) profit sharing typically around 6-7%

Background and credit check required

Could start immediately but June is the target (they will move on the right candidate earlier)

This role will be more build and support vs design

A little leaner toward Custom vs 3rd party config

Optimizing within the stack vs exploring emerging tech

60% Frontend / 40% Backend

I would focus on strong React foundational and Cloud skills if they are sharp and willing to learn
