Patent Agent - Technology Specialist Machine Learning U.S. Offices Hybrid
A leading intellectual property law firm is seeking a Patent Agent -Technology Specialist with a background in Machine Learning (ML) to support its fast-paced patent practice. You ll play a key role in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications tied to advanced ML systems and real-world implementations.
This position offers early responsibility client exposure and the opportunity to collaborate with elite legal teams on patent strategy. Many specialists later pursue law school with full firm support benefiting from structured mentorship and career progression.
Key Highlights:
Engage directly with inventors working on neural networks deep learning algorithms and hardware-based ML systems.
Draft technically sound patent applications and responses to office actions.
Contribute scientific insight to litigation teams and IP portfolio development efforts.

Requirements
Requirements:
Degrees in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering with practical ML experience.
Familiarity with hardware implementation of ML/NN systems.
2 years of experience in patent prosecution preferred.
Strong writing and communication skills; USPTO registration preferred.
Advanced technical degree strongly preferred.
