Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Informatica Solution Architect as part of the Data Fabric team to design and implement enterprise-scale metadata-driven data integration and data quality solutions. The candidate should have extensive experience with Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) / IICS /IPC and a proven track record of building reusable scalable data ingestion frameworks that can adapt to diverse data sources and business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Architect comprehensive metadata-driven data ingestion frameworks using Informatica platform components
- Design reusable solution patterns and templates that minimize development time and maximize consistency across data integration projects
- Develop enterprise data integration strategies that leverage metadata repositories to drive automated pipeline generation
- Create technical architecture documentation solution blueprints and implementation roadmaps for complex data integration initiatives
Metadata-Driven Framework Development
- Build sophisticated metadata management solutions that capture data lineage business rules and transformation logic
- Design parameter-driven ingestion patterns that can dynamically adapt to new data sources without code changes
- Develop configuration-based approaches to data quality rule definition and execution across multiple data domains
Data Quality & Governance Leadership
- Architect enterprise data quality frameworks with reusable rule sets validation patterns and exception handling mechanisms
- Design metadata-driven data quality scorecards and monitoring dashboards that provide business-friendly visibility into data health
- Implement automated data quality assessment processes that leverage business metadata to apply contextually appropriate validation rules
- Establish data quality governance workflows that route exceptions to appropriate business stakeholders based on metadata-defined ownership
Technical Leadership & Implementation
- Lead implementation of Informatica IDMC solutions including Data Integration Data Quality and Data Governance
- Collaborate with data architects and engineers to optimize performance of high-volume data processing workloads
Required Qualifications
Informatica Platform Expertise
- 10 years of hands-on experience with Informatica platform with at least 3 years focused on IDMC (Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud)/IICS
- Expert-level knowledge of Informatica Data Integration Data Quality and metadata management capabilities
- Proven experience building metadata-driven data Integration and data quality solutions
- Strong understanding of Informaticas cloud architecture security model and integration with cloud data platforms
Metadata Management & Automation
- Deep expertise in designing metadata repositories and automated metadata harvesting processes
- Experience building parameter-driven configuration-based data integration solutions that minimize hard-coded logic
- Proficiency in developing metadata models that support both technical and business metadata requirements
Data Architecture & Integration
- Comprehensive understanding of enterprise data architecture patterns including data lakes data warehouses and real-time streaming architectures
- Experience integrating diverse data sources including databases cloud applications APIs file systems and streaming platforms
- Strong knowledge of on-prem and cloud data platforms (Oracle Exadata Databricks) and their integration with Informatica IDMC/IICS
- Expertise in designing scalable data processing solutions that handle high-volume high-velocity data workloads
Technical Skills
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with multiple database platforms (Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL etc.)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python Shell scripting) for automation and custom solution development
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) and their native data services
- Knowledge of data modeling techniques data governance principles and master data management concepts
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Informaticas AI-powered capabilities including CLAIRE recommendations and automated data discovery
- Experience with Informaticas real-time data integration capabilities and event-driven architectures
- Familiarity with Informaticas industry-specific accelerators and pre-built connectors
- Previous experience in solution architect or technical lead roles with responsibility for enterprise-scale implementations
- Experience leading technical teams through complex system implementations and migrations
