Job Description
Responsibilities
Prepare Basic FEED and Detailed Engineering Design complying with project requirement and industry standards.
Perform sizing calculations for Process Equipment and provide information in the form of equipment datasheet.
Experienced in HTRI rating & sizing for heat exchangers.
Ability to evaluate existing heat exchanger.
Assists in preparing cost estimate for tender proposal.
Familiar with related vendors their products and perform technical evaluation on vendor proposal.
Coordination with other engineering disciplines design interference check and design changes.
Provides technical assistance to construction project commissioning and start-up activities.
Support safety related evaluation HAZOP meetings.
Attends site check and verification.
Requirements
Requirements & Professional Skills
Bachelor s degree in chemical engineering.
Proficient in fluid dynamics heat transfer and thermodynamics.
Experience includes process design equipment sizing and component selection.
Minimum 8-15 years relevant working experience process design of plants and systems for projects in the Oil & Gas.
Well-versed in all local and international codes and standards on the related field.
Proficient in using process engineering design software like HTRI HYSYS
Knowledgeable in using Aspen.
Well versed in drafting applications such as AutoCAD drafting Smart Plant P&ID.
