The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership technical expertise in concrete manufacturing and a deep understanding of quality assurance resource management and lean production practices. The Production Manager will play a key role in optimizing processes managing teams and aligning production with strategic business goals.
Develop and implement daily weekly and monthly production schedules to meet demand.
Coordinate closely with procurement and logistics teams to ensure availability of raw materials and resources.
Enforce strict quality control standards in line with ASTM ACI and local regulatory requirements.
Monitor production output to ensure consistency durability and compliance with specifications.
Continuously assess and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Apply lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement strategies across the plant.
Ensure strict adherence to OSHA and all relevant health and safety regulations.
Lead safety initiatives conduct regular safety drills and instill a safety-first culture on the shop floor.
Lead coach and manage a team of supervisors machine operators and support staff.
Conduct performance evaluations identify training needs and support career development initiatives.
Oversee inventory of raw materials finished goods and spare parts to avoid disruptions.
Plan and supervise maintenance of equipment to reduce downtime and prolong machine life.
Manage production budgets and align spending with financial goals.
Track key production metrics and generate operational reports for management with recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to meet specific customer requirements and resolve production-related issues.
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Bachelor s degree in Manufacturing Mechanical/Civil Engineering Industrial Management or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in production management preferably within the concrete or construction materials industry.
In-depth knowledge of concrete production techniques and quality standards.
Demonstrated ability to manage production teams and achieve operational goals.
Experience with lean manufacturing Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and production planning software.
Excellent problem-solving organizational and communication skills.
Proven commitment to safety quality and operational excellence.
This role is based in a plant environment and may involve exposure to dust noise and temperature fluctuations.
Regular movement around the plant and extended periods of standing or walking may be required.
Occasional travel for training and meetings is expected.
