SAFETY SUPERVISOR


Responsibilities:
Investigate industrial accidents injuries or occupational diseases to determine causes and preventive measures.

Maintain and apply knowledge of current policies regulations and industrial processes.
Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations hazardous condition monitoring and use of safety equipment.
Compile analyze and interpret statistical data related to occupational illnesses and accidents.
All other duties assigned by the Safety and Health Manager Qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3 years experience in manufacturing setting
  • 1 years experience in management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Bachelor Degree in a related field preferred
  • 2-5 years experience in a similar role
  • Work in a fast pace environment where beef is processed
  • Able to work at least 50 hours a week
  • Must be a highly effective communicator**
  • FLEXIBLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision Medical and Dental coverage
  • Paid Time off: sick leave vacation and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): eligible after the 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Companys annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
