Classification: Information Technology (IT) Specialist 1
Unlimited Full-time
8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Monday Friday)
*A flexible work schedule may be approved with up to two days remote work per week (if applicable)
Salary Range: Hourly from $25.16 to $37.77; Annually from $52534 to $78864
*Salary placement is dependent on education and experience

THE POSITION AND THE DEPARTMENT
The Information Technology (IT) department at Normandale CommunityCollege ensures reliable and sustained business and operational continuity for administrative systems and academictechnologies.
This entry-level position is responsible for providing day-to-day Level 1 support ofIT-managed technology systems resources and providereliable and efficient technical support to students faculty and staff. Technicians use an IT service management system to record and track daily tech support activities performed by all IT personnel. Technicians follow established IT support procedures focusing on customer service and quality assurance.
This position will actively advance the colleges strategic goals including to achieve equity in educational outcomes and to support a culturally responsive and service-oriented culture through individual and departmental efforts.
