Family Medicine Provider Clinical Attending Faculty Huntsman Mental Health Institute Neurobehavioral HOME Clinic You are invited to join the multidisciplinary faculty of the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine in the School of Medicine University of Utah. We are seeking a board-certified family physician physician assistants or nurse practitioner for the position of Family Medicine Provider Clinical Attending. You will be joining a strong family medicine faculty group and have opportunities for teaching family medicine residents medical students and other health science trainees. This clinical role is based at the Neurobehavior HOME Program a nationally recognized center of excellence and coordinated healthcare model dedicated to serving individuals with developmental disabilities. The programs dynamic interdisciplinary teamcomprising primary care physicians psychiatrists social workers occupational therapists speech-language pathologists behavioral analysts and a dietitianworks collaboratively to address the complex medical and mental health needs of this population. Many patients experience intellectual and/or social impairments resulting from conditions such as genetic disorders birth trauma autism spectrum disorder and brain injuries. As part of this team clinical faculty will provide comprehensive primary care to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout their lifetime supporting them with compassionate integrated and specialized healthcare. Qualifications 1. Board certification by The American Board of Family Medicine National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants ( NCCPA ) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. 2. Unrestricted Utah state medical license 3. Experience in clinical medicine teaching and scholarship is preferred.
