Responsibilities- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Preparing materials:
- This includes cleaning surfaces removing rust or debris and cutting materials using various tools.
- Setting up equipment:
- Assisting with setting up welding equipment tools and ensuring they are in good working order.
- Operating tools:
- Using hand and power tools like grinders sanders and saws to shape and smooth welded parts.
- Assisting welders:
- Providing support to welders during the welding process including holding materials moving equipment and ensuring safety.
- Cleaning and maintaining the work area:
- Keeping the workspace clean organized and free from hazards.
- Reading blueprints and specifications:
- Understanding and interpreting blueprints to guide material preparation and assist with welding tasks.
- Performs daily tasks of drum pumping drum dumping tank farm operations and offloading trucks;
- Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements able to use scanning application.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management.
QualificationsWhat does it take to work at HPC- Industrial
- High School diploma or equivalent required;
- Must be 18 years or older;
- 1 Years of related experience;
- Fork lift experience preferred (Not Required);
- Ability to use computer;
- Ability to lift 50 or more pounds;
