Job Description
McWane Poles:
We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about working in an industrial setting are self-motivated and have a strong desire to troubleshoot and maintain critical production equipment. Applicants interested are expected to know the principles values and behaviors of the McWane Compass.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical production equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform corrective repairs.
- Operate and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Perform welding and fabrication as needed.
- Accurately document maintenance activities and maintain records.
- Support production needs by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns.
- Comply with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications preferred.
- 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics.
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of electrical systems (up to 480V)
- Familiar with PLCs and troubleshooting control systems
- Proficient in mechanical systems pumps motors gearboxes and conveyors
- Welding cutting and fabrication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand walk and work in hot cold and noisy environments
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights
- Use of PPE (personal protective equipment) required
