Job Description
Role: Test Manager
Location: Florham Park NJ (Onsite)
Interview: Phone/Skype
Job Type: Contract
Were looking for a seasoned Test Manager with deep expertise in #SystemTesting #Automation and #PowerSystems to lead cross-functional testing efforts within R&D. This role will define and implement comprehensive test strategies ensuring quality and performance throughout the SDLC.
Responsibilities
- Develop test strategies covering #SystemLevel #Integration and #ValidationTesting
- Review specs and use cases to align test coverage with product goals
- Execute #Regression #Functional and #Performance tests
- Lead go/no-go release decisions based on quality benchmarks
- Maintain test automation frameworks and manage traceability
- Support issue reproduction and root cause analysis with dev teams
- Mentor test engineers promote best practices and innovation
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors/Masters in #ElectricalEngineering or #ComputerScience
- 10 years leading #Software and #Hardware testing teams
- Strong hands-on experience with #Modbus #CAN and #IEC61850 protocols
- Proven knowledge in #ComplianceTesting traceability and defect tracking tools
- Expertise in test planning estimation and test infrastructure development
- Excellent leadership analytical and cross-team collaboration skills
- Experience in #EmbeddedSystems or #IndustrialAutomation domains
