Job Description

Role: WLAN Networking Developer
Location: Irvine CA
Interview: Phone/Skype
Job Type: Contract

We are seeking a WLAN Networking Developer to design develop and verify WAP software for xWAP (Wi-Fi) configuration using vendor interfaces such as #REST #SSH and #SNMP. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in #WirelessLAN protocols #Cplusplus development and #Linux environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and integrate WAP software to control xWAP using vendor ICDs
  • Interface with systems via #RESTAPI #SSH and #SNMP
  • Implement software under #LinuxOS using #C14/#C17
  • Validate functionality of #80211ac and #80211ax wireless protocols
  • Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to technical documentation

Requirements

  • 5 years in #C development Linux-based systems
  • 3 years with network protocols: #TCP #UDP #IP #DHCP #DNS #VLANs
  • Strong experience with #WiFi development and #WirelessLAN technologies
  • Familiarity with #AgileMethodologies and #Scrum
  • Experience in #Avionics and #IFEC (In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity) systems is a plus
  • Background in #PubSub and #IPCArchitectures
  • Excellent communication and debugging skills
