Job Description
- Teaching patients how to make specific sounds or improve their voice.
- Helping individuals improve their vocabulary sentence structure and overall language skills.
- Working with patients to strengthen the muscles used for swallowing.
- Providing support and guidance to families and caregivers.
Qualifications :
- Active Florida License as a Speech Therapist
- At least one year of experience as a Speech Therapist in a clinical setting
- Current CPR Certification
- Excellent Computer Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization and community
- Excellent and high level written and verbal communication skills that reflects positively on the hospital
- Accurate and meticulous to detail
- Ability to organize and work independently
- Demonstrate understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures
