Senior Distribution Services Specialist

The Senior Distribution Services Specialist oversees Distribution Operations executed by the contracted 3PL company; To ensure the proper execution of processes based on best practices and in compliance with internal and law / environmental policies.  

This position is the primary liaison between the 3PL and Master Lock / FBIN; Works with the 3PL to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time and in full. This role also facilitates the continuous improvement processes at the 3PL while ensuring regular Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reviews with the 3PL and that required action plans are created and executed to closure.

POSITION LOCATION: Nogales AZ Distribution Center

RESPONSIBLIITIES:

• Serve as the on-site Master Lock / FBIN leader facilitating and leading company interface operations at the Louisville Kentucky Distribution Center ensuring compliance of operations.
• Master Lock main point of contact on-site for internal departments as Sales Customer Service Planning Transportation Quality & Order Management.
• Assist 3PL management with distribution planning scheduling and monitoring of operations.
• In coordination with 3PL management prepare maintain and monitor Operations KPIs / scorecards.
• In charge of purchasing the site MRO supplies and services.
• Prepare financial projections / forecasts and manage site expenses within budget.
• Distribution operations Special projects planning & coordination to ensure execution on time by 3PL.
• Generate appropriate reports regarding service and assist in evaluating cost factors associated with the business.
• Work collaboratively with all 3PL internal departments to resolve customer complaints or / and company issues when necessary.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with 3PL staff.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
• Identify obsolete and excess inventory items and develop plan to address these inventory items.

Qualifications :

• 3 to 5 years of Distribution/Warehousing &/or Supply Chain experience.
• Red Prairie / Blue Yonder WMS knowledge preferable.
• Oracle Applications ERP knowledge preferable
• Demonstrated understanding of Materials/Logistics processes and material flow is required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to interpret and act upon complex instructions.
• Strong service orientation influencing skills and results driven.

Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $70000 USD - $110000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range or be above or below the range based on factors including but not limited to education training experience professional achievement business need and location. In addition to base salary employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based sales incentive plan.
