Job Description

We are seeking a visionary and hands-on Director of DTC & Performance Marketing to build and scale our direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing engine from the ground up. This role is exclusively focused on DTC channelsnot marketplaces like Amazonand is ideal for a builder who thrives in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. You will architect strategies that drive customer acquisition retention and lifetime value across our owned digital ecosystem and engage in hands-on execution.

The responsibilities of this position shall consist of but not be limited to the following:

Strategy development and DTC infrastructure build-out

  • Define the long-term vision for DTC growth and build the team and tools needed to achieve it.
  • Build a comprehensive DTC and performance marketing strategy aligned with brand and business goals.

Tactical execution of performance marketing campaigns

  • Launch and optimize campaigns across owned digital channels: email SMS paid search paid social affiliate and social selling (e.g. TikTok Shop).
  • Develop and implement customer journey frameworks to drive engagement and retention.

Data analysis and optimization

  • Establish a data-driven culture using automation AI and consumer insights to inform decisions.  Track key metrics and generate reports to guide strategic decisions.
  • Create and manage marketing budgets and forecasts tied to measurable KPIs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure digital strategies align with broader brand initiatives.
  • Work closely with the brand and social teams to ensure cohesive messaging and integrated marketing efforts

Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary


Qualifications :

Required Education:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent

Required Experience:      

  • 10 years in digital marketing with a strong focus on DTC and performance marketing
  • Proven experience building and leading DTC programs (not just managing existing ones)
  • Working knowledge of platforms like Shopify Magento WordPress Salsify and email/SMS tools
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a builders mentality
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen
  • Proven ability to lead and scale high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Strong project management and multitasking skills
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change

Preferred:

  • Experience in food/CPG

Additional Information :

The salary range for this role is $159100 - $218790 (Annually).  Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including but not limited to external market data internal equity location and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Links Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
