About the Opportunity
Scale IR has been exclusively retained by a rapidly growing real estate investment firm to identify a high-caliber Investor Relations & Acquisitions Associate based in Dallas TX. This is a rare opportunity to join a dynamic entrepreneurial team with exposure to both capital raising and direct investment activity.

Our client is an active multifamily buyer in the Texas market and this hire will play a hybrid role across investor relations deal sourcing and first-look underwriting. Its ideal for someone with strong sales acumen and a deep understanding of real estate investments especially someone looking to move beyond brokerage and grow into the ownership side of the business.

The Role
Youll be the front line for both capital and deals building investor relationships meeting with brokers reviewing new opportunities and helping drive the firms growth. The role is part hunter part educator and all hustle.

Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations

  • Lead initial investor conversations and qualify leads

  • Build and nurture relationships with accredited investors and family offices

  • Conduct in-person meetings across Texas especially Dallas and surrounding markets

  • Follow up with leads who have missed or not booked calls

  • Support the creation of investor decks presentations and (eventually) webinars

Acquisitions & Deal Sourcing

  • Meet with brokers and represent the firm in the local deal community

  • Source deals through lunches calls networking and relationship building

  • Conduct first-look underwriting to assess viability and highlight key metrics (IRR price per door comps)

  • Present preliminary deal insights for internal investment committee review

Cross-Functional Support

  • Assist with fundraising efforts during open offerings

  • Support CRM tracking pipeline management and investor reporting as needed

  • Contribute to marketing and education initiatives for both investors and partners

Candidate Profile
Were looking for a unique mix: a strong communicator with sales DNA investment intuition and serious local market knowledge.

Required Experience & Traits:

  • Proven ability to sell either capital real estate or investment products

  • Prior experience closing real estate or financial transactions

  • Deep familiarity with the Dallas multifamily market: comps IRR cap rates pricing trends

  • Solid understanding of investment concepts and basic underwriting

  • Confident in live conversations cold calls and presentations

  • Comfortable being told nocompetitive and resilient

  • Ambitious and coachable looking for long-term growth on the principal side

  • Extroverted with a strong social battery and relationship-building instinct

Bonus:

  • Existing LP or family office relationships

  • Experience in both real estate brokerage and underwriting

  • Track record hosting investor events webinars or public-facing presentations
