Shift Supervisor: Create Joy Healing Generations

As aShift Supervisor you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support our behavioral health mentors. Every day you will participate and guide staff in facilitating experiential therapies like art music yoga hiking fitness and a variety of other on and off campus activities. To thrive at Chrysalis you must have an empathetic heart and maintain personal and professional boundaries with teens and staff.

At Chrysalis our mission is to lead the way in driving teen and young adult anxiety depression and suicide from the all-time highs of today to all-time lows by 2028.

Responsibilities

The Shift Supervisor is a core member of the Treatment Team. The mission of the Shift Supervisor is to ensure safety through adherence to all Policies and Procedures and to support students in all aspects of daily life ensuring their needs are met. The Shift Supervisor is responsible for aligning with the Residential Managers in establishing and maintaining a positive staff culture at Chrysalis. This position will be expected to develop their shift team to run their shift smoothly.

  • Ensure Student safety at all times.
  • Achieve alignment with Residential Managers and Executive Director on initiatives and goals for the Residential Program.
  • Integrate Chrysalis culture norms and sustainable systems and processes for the long-haul.
  • Facilitates the team to find practical solutions to problems.
  • Encourages our staff to provide consistency to our students.
  • Implement and facilitate State required trainings.
  • Collaborate with various work groups.

Qualifications

What do you bring to this position

  • 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or equivalent G.E.D required
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen in concordance with Montana State laws
  • Abilityto passfederal and statebackground checks
  • Current Montana drivers license or ability to obtain a Montana drivers license upon hire
  • Abilityto perform CPR andFirst Aid
  • Ability to applyprovided trainingin safe verbal de-escalation and physical intervention
  • Preferred -one year of experienceworking with adolescent populations
  • Ability to plan implement and adjust toprogram or daily adjustments
  • Ability to develop staff lead a team and effectively demonstrate management duties

Chrysalis is a small therapeutic boarding school for adolescent girls aged 13 to 18 located in northwestern Montana. Chrysalis uses a combination of therapy individualized academics family style living and adventure-based activities to help girls who have struggled academically socially and at home. Each Chrysalis student participates in an international service trip to better appreciate diversity while positively affecting the lives of others and ultimately changing her own life forever.
