Job Description

Clinical Consultant & Program Expert (Mental & Behavioral Health)

Location: Georgia (Remote Regional Travel)
Type: Contractor (W-2 Conversion Opportunity in 90120 Days)
Pay: $70$100/hour (Negotiable Based on Experience & Licensure)
Status: Part-Time / As-Needed with Growth to Retainer or Full-Time

Were expanding our Clinical Consultant Network and seeking a Georgia-based Clinical Consultant & Program Expert to serve as a thought partner program advisor and clinical trainer to our clients and internal team. This role is perfect for a Clinical Director Program Manager or senior dual-licensed leader seeking flexible meaningful work with mission-driven organizations.

What Youll Do

  • Advise Mental Health & SUD Providers: Evaluate program models documentation practices and supervision structures for outpatient residential and Medicaid-billable services

  • Deliver Live Trainings: Lead or co-lead client-facing and internal trainings on clinical compliance trauma-informed care staff development and ethical decision-making

  • Shape Program Strategy: Collaborate on designing and refining client programs (SACOT ACT IIH PSR Peer Support MAT)

  • Support Internal Growth: Train Wilkinson Firm HR and recruiting staff on clinical roles documentation requirements and treatment models to strengthen client services

  • Act as Strategic Clinical Partner: Serve on client strategy calls audit preparation leadership development and state readiness projects

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Clinical Director Program Director Clinical Supervisor or Program Manager

  • Dual-licensed preferred (e.g. LCSW LCAS; LCMHC CCS)

  • Deep understanding of Medicaid-funded services clinical documentation and state compliance

  • Passion for training others and scaling programs rooted in evidence-based practice

  • Comfortable leading conversations with C-suite executives HR leaders and clinical managers

Bonus If You Have

  • Prior experience in training or clinical consulting

  • Familiarity with Lattice Relias or other HR/compliance tools

  • CARF COA or Joint Commission experience

  • Regional licensure in multiple states (GA SC NC IL DC/MD/VA)
