Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Logistics Analyst to join our team. The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our supply chain and logistics operations. This includes managing inventory levels identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of medical supplies to our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct analysis of our supply chain and logistics operations to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce supply chain costs.
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and prevent stock shortages.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost savings.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of medical supplies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery of goods.
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards to track logistics and supply chain performance.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and streamline operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in supply chain management logistics or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of supply chain management software is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
