Position: Spot Driver
Department: Shipping
Directly Reports to: Shipping Supervisor
Indirectly Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Location: Tupelo MS
Pay: Hourly / Weekly
Primary Focus:
Spot trailers in and out of the dock doors.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
- Spot trailers on the yard and dock doors.
- Perform daily trailer checks
- Refuel refers when necessary.
- Keep areas in front of dock doors clean.
- Clean under dock plates when necessary.
- Knows and demonstrates 6S principles.
Back up Responsibilities:
Work on the dock stacking and stretch wrapping product.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Cold environment exposure to the outside elements lifting and stacking. Able to work 10 hours..
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Able to operate a spot truck operate a fuel pump and read gauges
Education:
High School Diploma
Experience:
Current CDL license OTR experience a plus
