Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual to join our dynamic commercial real estate brokerage team in Annapolis. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a career-minded individual to learn the business from the ground up with a focus on business development and client service. The Sales and Leasing Associate will play a crucial role in generating new leasing and investment sales opportunities while providing essential support to senior brokers in all aspects of transaction execution.
Responsibilities:
Business Development (50%):
o Proactively identify and develop new leasing and investment sales clients through various channels including cold calling networking online research and attending industry events.
o Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients and properties.
o Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the Central Maryland market and surrounding areas.
o Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
o Maintain accurate records of all business development activities in CRM.
Transaction Support (50%):
o Assist senior brokers with property tours preparing marketing materials and conducting due diligence.
o Draft and review Letters of Intent (LOIs) proposals and other transaction-related documents.
o Coordinate communication between clients attorneys and other parties involved in transactions.
o Maintain and update property databases and market information.
o Prepare market analysis and property valuations.
o Assist with the closing process ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Finance Real Estate or a related field preferred.
1-2 years of professional experience Commercial Real Estate experience preferred but not required.
Strong interest in commercial real estate and a desire to build a long-term career in the industry.
Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation skills.
Highly motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Experience with CRM software is a plus.
Real estate license or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
Compensation: This position will be compensated with through Commissions.
