Residential Case Manager Supervisor Location: Crossnore North Carolina
Crossnore Communities for Children is looking a Residential Case Manager Supervisor to join our team in our Crossnore NC a Residential Supervisor you will assist the Director of Residential Services in creating a therapeutic and professional environment within the residential setting by providing leadership and training of staff. Additionally the Residential Supervisor provides supervision of Cottage staff and/or Case Managers through regularly scheduled meetings and on-site supervision in order to ensure healthy team functioning and the highest quality of care for residents.
HIRING RANGE:$50000 - $57500 annually- Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Candidates who meet only the minimum requirements can expect to start at the beginning of the range while those with additional and relevant experience and/or advanced skills may be considered for higher starting pay within the range. QUALIFICATIONS Education/Experience - Meets requirements for a Qualified Professional which are:
- Masters degree in a human services or related field from an accredited college or university and a minimum of one year supervised clinical experience working with children and families; or
- Bachelors degree in a human services field and two years experience with the current population; or
- Bachelors degree in a non-human services field and four years experience with the current population
- Minimum of two years supervisory experience preferred
- Experience supervising residential or group care living program staff strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities: - Lead with Purpose: Oversee the daily operations of residential programs ensuring a safe structured and nurturing environment for all residents.
- Empower Your Team:Provide ongoing training supervision and support to Cottage Parents and staff helping them excel in their roles and deliver high-quality care.
- Create a Therapeutic Environment:Implement evidence-based models like The Sanctuary Model and Love and Logic to foster a healing atmosphere.
- Manage with Excellence:Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards maintain inspection-ready facilities and manage budgets effectively.
- Champion Case Management:Oversee the creation and implementation of comprehensive Plans of Care ensuring each childs needs are met with compassion and precision.
- Build Strong Relationships:Collaborate with school staff families DSS and community resources to support each childs journey toward permanency and success.
Case Management Oversight- Oversee and ensure coordination of all relevant team members to create viable Plans of Care (POCs) that compliment a students goals and permanency plan.
- Oversee and ensure POC reviews are scheduled as required to focus on current issues or developments (7 day 30 day 60 day 90 day etc.)
- Oversee and ensure that Comprehensive Behavioral Assessments (CBAs) are completed and updated every 6 months
- Develop and maintain positive relationships and contact with school staff family members DSS Crossnore Communities for Childrens staff visiting resources GALs and community resources to ensure good communication and teamwork
- Oversee and ensure that all necessary documents are present in the electronic client file (birth certificate social security card insurance information CBAs and POCs etc.)
- Assist staff with effective timely acquisition of documents for the electronic file.
- Prepare staff to attend court and competently testify as needed also attend court as needed
- Assist with coordination and transportation of students as needed
- Conduct electronic record case note audits for supervisees on a monthly basis.
- Oversee and ensure coordination and facilitation of requests for financial assistance for items such as automobiles insurance special camps or other special opportunities
- Oversee and ensure that adequate discharge planning is completed for all students especially those turning 18 years of age. Discharge planning documents include the Discharge Form Discharge Memorandum Discharge Planning form and Discharge Summary
- Oversee and ensure that the foster care 18-21 year old programming for DSS students is utilized whenever possible and that it connects with the agencys internal program for this age population.
- Fulfill on-call cottage responsibilities as assigned.
- Other duties as assigned.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS Monday- Friday 8:30am-5:00pm; to vary depending on program needs. Must be available to work nights and weekends as necessary including occasional 24-hour periods when providing coverage in cottages. Work many involve travel to locations that range from human services agencies clinics hospitals offices and locations for field trips.
