Job Description
Analyze potential prospects performance data to prepare in-depth profiles and evaluations of prospects. Create reports dashboards and presentations to help guide informed recruiting decisions. Identify best fit prospects. Use machine learning and statistical models/analysis to forecast roster fit and performance. Maintain and update recruiting database. Assist with scouting and recruiting.
Required Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Strong understanding of advanced basketball metrics (e.g. PER offensive/defensive efficiency shot charts). Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
Exposure to data science Statistics Sports Analytics or a related field. Proficiency in Excel SQL Python R or other data analysis tools. Experience with sports analytics platforms (e.g. Synergy Sports HDI Hudl SportVU).
Work Schedule
Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM and occasional weekends and holidays
