Job Description
What the Role Offers:
Full-time position with 12-hour shifts (7a7p / 7p7a)
No callenjoy true work-life balance
Always two pediatricians on shiftno solo coverage
Clinical responsibilities include:
Pediatric Emergency Department care
Coverage of Level II-A Special Care Nursery
Well Baby Nursery and inpatient pediatric unit (10 beds)
Attending deliveries as needed
Epic EMR in place for streamlined care coordination
Teach and mentor third-year pediatric residents family medicine residents and medical students rotating through the hospital

Qualifications :
- Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.
- Possesses and maintains current Board Certification within Pediatric or Pediatric Hospital Medicine
- Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
- Possesses and maintains if applicable appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
- Demonstrates meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
- Demonstrates appropriate qualifications and experience to perform the duties required of this position.

Compensation:
- Pay Range: Pediatric Hospitalist Starting base at $95/hour increases based on years of experience
- Additional compensation options available for discussion include a $20000 sign-on bonus relocation assistance and a productivity bonus.
