Job Description
DevOps Engineer with Java
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with Java to join our team and help us build and maintain robust infrastructure and backend systems. Youll work on modern CI/CD pipelines support our production environments and contribute to the development of microservice-based applications.
What will you do
- Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure and manage Jenkins deployments.
- Develop Helm charts and deploy applications to Kubernetes.
- Support and improve deployment strategies (canary blue-green).
- Ensure observability and monitoring using tools like Grafana Loki Mimir or Alloy.
- Automate tasks and scripts using Linux shell.
- Work with Git and version control systems.
- Develop and maintain Java microservices using Spring Framework.
- Contribute to backend development with a focus on performance and concurrency.
- Participate in on-call/stand-by support (5 PM12 AM) shared on rotation with the team.
Your skills
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Proficiency in Jenkins configuration and deployment management.
- Experience with Helm and Kubernetes basics.
- Understanding of deployment strategies: canary blue-green.
- Familiarity with observability/monitoring tools (e.g. Grafana Loki Mimir Alloy).
- Strong skills in Linux shell scripting and automation.
- Solid experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Proficiency in Java (8) and Spring Framework (Context DI IoC).
- Familiarity with Maven and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of concurrency and multithreading in Java.
Nice to have
- Experience with unit and integration testing (e.g. Mockito).
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and message brokers.
- Awareness of application security best practices in production environments.
- Familiarity with tools like Prometheus Alertmanager Elastic Stack.
