A leading international manufacturer in Surrey BC of dry material high-speed high-capacity gyratory screening machines is looking to increase their team. Our members are responsible for all fabrication and assembly of our products efficiently producing high quality equipment. All the machines are designed and created on site allowing collaboration with Sales Operations and Engineering.
Hours: Monday -Friday 6:45 am 2:45 pm
Pay: $45.34per hour
Education/Qualifications
Red Seal / Journeyman Certification in Fabrication is required
Minimum 3-years experience in a non-structure manufacturing facility
Job Duties
Reading and interpreting blueprints drawings and specifications to understand the requirements of a project
Selecting appropriate materials based on project specifications and quality requirements
Using various tools and equipment such as welding machines cutting torches grinders and shears to cut shape and assemble metal parts
Performing welding soldering and brazing operations to join metal components together
Inspecting fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements
Troubleshooting and resolving issues with fabricated components or equipment
Adhering to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition through regular cleaning inspection and maintenance
Skills/Experience
Required:
Have experience in working with Mild steel Stainless steel & Aluminum
Operate equipment including but not limited to forklifts overhead cranes drill press saws
Reading and understanding drawings and follow assembly instructions
Ability to understand oral and written technical instructions
Effective English reading writing and communication skills
Ability to lift fifty pounds
Good interpersonal and teamwork skill
Experience with integrated ERP systems
