- Salary:$29.70 - $30.01 per hour 25% casual loading
Join Our Team as a Direct Care Worker (Community) Support Independence and Quality of Life for Older and Disabled Adults!
Are you compassionate and dedicated to helping others live independently in their own homes Were seeking a Direct Care Worker (Community) to provide essential hands-on support to aged frail or disabled clients who wish to maintain their independence.
About the Role:
As a Direct Care Worker you will assist clients with daily tasks working under the guidance of the ANUM Outreach Coordinator. You will collaborate closely with Community Health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team ensuring coordinated and person-centred care.
What Were Looking For:
- Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
- Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
- Experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health-related field.
- Experience in dealing with aged frail or disabled persons.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word Excel.

- DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
- National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
- Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
