The opportunity
Were looking for a Microsoft Fabric/Power BI Engineer to drive initiatives in empowering our clients data-driven insights. This role is pivotal in shaping how Power BI is used across the organisation and you will take ownership in establishing best practices guiding technical implementations and fostering a culture of self-service analytics.
Youll be the go-to expert for setting up Power BI platform helping teams unlock the full potential of their data through training governance and hands-on support.
What youll do
- Establish and Maintain Best Practices: Define document and continuously improve Power BI standards ensuring consistency scalability and performance across reports and dashboards.
- Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the go-to Power BI expert advising business units analysts and IT teams on optimal usage architecture and governance.
- Run Learning Sessions: Design and deliver engaging training sessions workshops and knowledge-sharing forums to upskill internal teams.
- Platform Governance: Support the setup governance and ongoing management of SEO-managed Microsoft Fabric and Power BI platforms.
- Technical Support: Provide hands-on assistance and troubleshooting for complex Power BI issues including data modelling DAX optimization and report performance tuning.
- Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the go-to Power BI expert advising business units analysts and IT teams on optimal usage architecture and governance.
What Youll Bring
- Proven experience in Power BI consulting enablement or enterprise BI strategy.
- Deep knowledge of Power BI architecture DAX Power Query and data visualisation best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with a passion for teaching and enabling others.
- Familiarity with data governance security and compliance in enterprise organisations.
