You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAre you passionate about enhancing the quality of life for Texans LCRAs Digital Services team is seeking an Application Administrator I to support our mission. In this role you will provide essential support for endpoint management including configuration deployment installation tuning monitoring maintenance and updates. Youll also offer technical assistance and training to users and IT staff and create documentation for application support.
You will be trusted to:
- Configure and deploy software applications and operating systems ensuring they meet organizational standards and requirements.
- Install endpoint management applications and perform tuning to optimize performance and reliability.
- Monitor Ivanti EPM/Neurons performance troubleshoot issues and perform regular maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
- Manage application updates and patches with a focus on maintaining security and functionality.
- Work closely with Cyber departments to plan develop pilot and distribute remediation steps for OS and Application vulnerabilities ensuring a cohesive approach to security.
- Provide technical support and training to users and IT staff addressing any application-related issues.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for support including user guides and troubleshooting manuals.
You qualify with:
- Four or more years of experience in providing troubleshooting configuration administration and support for software applications or relevant experience. A degree(s) in computer science information technology or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Drivers license
You are a great fit with:
- Configuration Management Experience: 4 years of experience with WSUS MDT SCCM BigFix or other
- Patching Experience: At least 2 years of experience in patching applications ensuring devices are up-to-date and secure.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in application and operating system configuration deployment installation tuning monitoring and maintenance.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear technical assistance and training.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with supervisors managers and experienced colleagues to develop competence through structured work assignments.
- CompTIA A Certification
- CompTIA Security Certification
- Ivanti Experience: 2 years of Ivanti Endpoint Manager Administration or Ivanti Neurons
- Ivanti Certification: Ivanti certified with a strong understanding of Ivantis suite of products.
