Forklift Operator Romeoville HIRING IMMEDIATELY
Do you have experience working as Dock Worker Forklift Driver Clamp Truck Operator We want you on our TEAM!!!
Available Shifts: 6AM- 6PM on a 223 Schedule
Now Offering a $750 sign-on bonus
Compensation:
- Starting Pay at $20.80 $1.50/hr shift differential

Responsibilities
- Assemble load and/or unload materials to designated area using appropriate equipment including forklift clamp lift barcode readers and safety equipment
- Receive and understand material movement orders
- Cycle counting support
- Physical inventory support (non-poly and finished goods)
- Recycle support
- Repack boxes stencil/re-label boxes stretch wrap product hand stack product
- Housekeeping Duties; inventory consolidation; material reclaim and scrap
Qualifications
- Must have proven experience working in a fast paced Warehouse/Logistics environment
- Sit-down Forklift Truck Experience
- Prior use of RF barcode reader and vehicle mounted (VMU) computer systems preferred
- Must be able to work in a fast paced manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Push-pull attachment operation a plus
- Minimum of 1 years recent forklift experience preferred
- Forklift Certification preferred
- Must successfully complete forklift certification program; complete certification manual within 90 days of placement
- Basic knowledge of mathematics
- Must have the basic ability to communicate orally and written in the English language
- Must be self-directed and have the ability to work with little supervision
- Will be required to be certified in Lockout/Tag Out and Forklift Operation upon assignment

35 miles southwest of Chicago Romeoville is a village in Will County Illinois. The village is located 26 mi southwest of Chicago and is a Chicago suburb. The population was 39746 based on US Census Bureau 2019 projections. It is located in the southwest suburban area of Chicago near Interstate 55 and Interstate 355.
The warehouse was built in 2000 and distributes food packaging items for GFS US Foods Ed Don & Sysco Foodservice and has approximately 90 employees.
