Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our clients team. This is a full-time position with a great schedule in a thriving compounding pharmacy practice which services several states in the region.
Hands on experience in both non-sterile and sterile compounding including full understanding of USP 797 800 and all other compliance standards. The individual in this role will be responsible for preparing a wide range of non-sterile and sterile compounded medications (e.g. creams ointments suspensions capsules suppositories) according to physician prescriptions and established formulas. Sterile compounded medications (e.g. ophthalmic preparations injectables intravenous admixtures) also mixed in a cleanroom environment ensuring aseptic technique and compliance with USP <797> standards.
Previous experience in compounding pharmacy and solidknowledge and practical experience with USP General Chapters <797> and <800> are essential.
