- Working week:Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm 35 hours per weekTerm time only
- Wage:7.55 per hour

- Duration:16 months
Overview of the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and hard working individual to join Clarksfield Primary Schools team. As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice you will gain many new skills to help you develop throughout the apprenticeship. During your time as a Teaching Assistant Apprentice you will be based in a classroom environment and will help support the young learners within their lessons and also will be involved in planning lessons.
Key responsibilities:
- Work under the direction of the line manager class teachers and other staff to support the learning of whole classes selected groups or individuals as instructed
- Promote positive pupil behaviour in line with academy policies and help keep pupils on task
- Interact with and support pupils according to individual needs and skills
- Raise standards of achievement for all pupils
- Encourage pupils to become more independent learners
- Provide support for their emotional social and physical welfare
- Support the inclusion of pupils in all aspects of school life
- Participating in the performance and development review process taking personal responsibility for identification of learning development and training opportunities in discussion with line manager
- To support learning by arranging/providing resources for lessons/activities under the direction of the teacher
Apprenticeship Summary:
- You will work towards your Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification across a total duration of 16 months!
- Training provider: LMP Group: online/remote learning no classroom or college day release
- An allocated tutor will support you throughout the apprenticeship!

Qualifications Required:
- GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4) essential
- GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 4) essential
Other things to consider:
- You will be required to provide the details of two references before proceeding to interview stage.
