About the Role:
This position sits within the UK Operations team and leads the Client Service Team. This role will deputise for the UK Head of Operations when required and play a key role supporting the UK RIC divisional leads to ensure we deliver high quality work to our clients.
This role has a strong focus on team leadership and making sure Client Services is a high performing element of the broader Operations team. Together with the UK Head of Operations creating/executing a strategy to deliver operational excellence and foster a highly functioning operational delivery team. Driving initiatives to improve the team such as developing new ways of working delivering initiatives and developing team culture.
The role requires effective management of client work project delivery and client and stakeholder engagement to help with the growth of highly profitable accounts and consistent operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a proven track record in leading operational teams which have delivered to internal or external research teams to be able to illustrate where their operational teams have been directly responsible for account growth and to have built a culture of togetherness which encourages each member to take risks in order to improve delivery to the client.
We are looking for a solution driven independent thinking leader who can navigate between hands-on problem solving and high-level planning. Strong Senior Directors are motivating communicators highly influential exceptionally talented in a number of core traits they have developed over time such a strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and interpersonal skills.
This role is based in London and the expectation is this person will come into the office at least twice a week; attends team meetings and client meetings in person.

About You:
Beyond core Client Services delivery and operational leadership you will drive continuous improvement across the teamdeveloping more productive ways of working setting high standards for team performance management and nurturing a positive team culture.
Maintaining oversight of project costing and timings accurate and efficient resourcing to ensure healthy profit margins and support effective cost management across all projects. You will be responsible for monitoring of supplier performance and effective management of third-party costs as part of overall operational responsibilities.
You will take responsibility for significant KPIs and targets and develop new sources of revenue or ways of working to support cost control/management including new clients products ways of working and/ or areas of expertise.
