We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk CouncilsProperty & Place team as a Building Surveyor/ Project Manager.
Your role:
The post holder will provide a comprehensive and professional Building Surveying design inspection and contract management service to internal and external stakeholders by delivering controlling and managing building related projects and maintenance services for the Councils non-housing property portfolio in a commercial and customer focused way which achieves program meets performance targets and the Councils Strategic Plan.
You will support in the management of Health and Safety ensuring that full compliance is met particularly in relation to the CDM Regulations and the Health and Safety at Work Act and that all industry statute is adhered to as well as managing projects using project management protocol to include management of change risk and budgetary control with engagement and regular reporting to all stakeholders.
What you will need:
The candidate will have good sound knowledge of construction techniques regulations methods and materials building pathology condition surveys and inspection and the ability to meet deadlines using the various methods and tools available.
