ArianeGroup GmbH in Bremen is looking for an intern in the field of Flight dynamics & GNC (m/f/d) for the department JTEE1 with immediate effect.

Your main tasks and activities:
Activities: Implementation of optimal Guidance algorithms using MATLAB / Simulink for an Orbital Transfer Vehicle (OTV). Integration of the algorithms in a full-scale GC simulator. A trade-off will be performed between the different methods both from a mathematical / numerical point of view and from the point of view of the impact on the whole system.
Design and implementation of a Missionization tool for a full-scale GNC simulator: Final scope is to have an easy way to transfer the typical Mission Analysis data into the a Functional Engineering Simulator (FES). Moreover the tool shall enable mission adaptations independently.
Guidance for Rendez-vous and Docking: First step is to compute several Mission Analysis scenarios for RdV and Docking for an OTV. They will afterwards be simulated in 6DoF. Different types of targets will be considered
You have the following qualifications:
Full time enrolled Master student (d/f/m) in Aerospace Engineering with focus in flight dynamics
Fluent English language skills; good German and/or French would be beneficial
