Job Description

Store Manager

Our client is a leading supplier of industrial fasteners industrial supplies and construction and building materials in the Pacific Northwest. They are currently seeking a highly organized detail-oriented Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of their store. This role carries a special focus on the integration and efficiency improvement of their newly acquired Medford branch. The ideal candidate will have a strong operational expertise and experience in managing the behind-the-scenes aspects of a fast-paced wholesale/retail environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and streamline all daily store operations ensuring efficiency in workflows and processes.
  • Implement and monitor operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Manage store maintenance equipment and facility needs to ensure a well-functioning workspace.
  • Oversee inventory audits and cycle counts to maintain accuracy and optimize storage and warehouse organization for maximum efficiency.
  • Supervise train and develop store staff ensuring they follow operational procedures and maintain productivity.
  • Handle administrative duties including cash handling financial transactions and reporting accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and handle store documentation.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and implement solutions to improve store performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in store warehouse or operations management preferably in industrial supplies hardware or related industries.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a focus on operational efficiency.
  • Experience in inventory control purchasing and logistics.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team to maintain smooth daily operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word) and inventory/POS systems.
  • Ability to lift and move products as needed in a warehouse/retail environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to track and manage store KPIs and budget.
  • Familiarity with lean operations or continuous improvement frameworks.
