Civmecs continued growth within our Major Projects and Infrastructure team provides ongoing opportunities for experienced Project Planners to join us where youll support a full planning schedule leverage your heavy industry construction and engineering expertise and enjoy autonomy and independence while interacting with the delivery team contractors and clients to deliver timely accurate project schedules all while we support your long-term career ambitions!

The Role

Reporting to the Lead Planner you will be responsible for developing implementing and maintain projects and shutdown activities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop implement and maintain strategies for the site to ensure optimal utilisation.
  • Develop implement and execute timely shutdown plans for the site.
  • Effective record keeping of schedules.
  • Liaise with management team for forecasting scheduled and shutdown works.
  • Create work orders and assign parts required to carry out scheduled project and shutdown works.
  • Maintain registered plant inspection and documentation.
  • Lead and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure a high level of maintenance is achieved by creating scoping planning and scheduling work correctly.
  • Develop and maintain cost and time estimates of planned works.
  • Upload and maintain accurate records and documentation for registered site records.


About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

  • 5 years experience in a similar environment.
  • Experience with Primavera P6 and MS Project highly regarded.
  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
  • Proficient in use of MS Office suite.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • OHS White Card.
